It is hard to imagine Him beyond being a traveler who was there in prehistoric times and on into the 24th century.
He's more than just an observer, just looking in during moments of history and the future. He is the maker or creator, constantly bringing life into the moment. He relishes birth and life. He gives each creation something of the essence of himself.
He responds to what is happening presently. Even being down with us in the minor circumstances we might face today. Yes, being there on a very personal level with our grandparents, with us, and our great grand children.
Extending across time without getting old, without changing. That is part of the mystery of being God.
